A few plain answers
Before you
open the book.
When will Patterbook be available?
Patterbook is planned for iPhone. It is not yet available in the App Store.
What can I save?
Save quotes, questions, stories, songs, firsts, and other small moments. Entries can include context, ordered photos and voice notes. Find them by child, month, category or a phrase you remember.
Does it transcribe audio or sync to iCloud?
Voice notes remain audio, without automatic transcription. Optional iCloud sync and private adult journals are being prepared. They are not available in the current preview. Local capture, backups and file sharing work without them.
Can I share a journal with family?
Choose a few moments for a PDF, browser package or slideshow, then review names, notes, photos and voice notes before creating the file. Use iOS to choose where it goes. Recipients can keep or forward their copy, so removing a shared journal later cannot recall a file they already received. Private shared iCloud journals are being prepared separately.
How much will it cost?
Pricing and availability will be confirmed before launch.
